Dr. Golden grew up in Flint, Michigan, and went to the Flint public schools. He then spent seven years at the University of Michigan for both undergrad and medical school. After an internship year at Sinai Hospital of Detroit he trained in the specialty of Dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital. Following two years of service in the Navy at Camp Lejeune, NC, where he was the chief of dermatology, he returned to this area and established a solo practice of dermatology in Sterling Heights where he practiced for 39 years. During that time he was the chief of dermatology at Beaumont Hospital-Troy for 20 years. Dr.Golden helped many patients during those years. His patients felt that Dr. Golden always put them first. He spent time with his patients, performed thorough medical exams, made accurate diagnoses, and practiced economical medicine concerning tests and treatments.
Dr. Golden heard many times from his patients, "You knew my problem and got me better quickly." Dr. Golden's patients regret that they can no longer see him. Time moves on.
Dr. Golden has six children, five grandchildren, and has lived in Rochester Hills with his wife Rita for 17 years.
